The Novinsm Hydrocone Concave is one of the main parts of the hydrocone crusher, installed inside the top shell and on the mantle, which itself is mounted on the head center.
During crushing, the material is first directed into the space between the concave and the mantle. By reducing the distance between these two parts via the head center shaft, the rocks are crushed under pressure. The final size of the crushed rocks depends on this gap and its adjustment.
The concave has a standard angle that creates a V-shaped space with the mantle. The size of this angle directly affects crushing performance and speed. A smaller angle limits the input space for rocks, increases friction and wear, and changes the output size.
Choosing a high-quality concave is very important. Durable materials, precise manufacturing, and adherence to specifications increase its lifespan, improve crusher efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs.
