1. What is the main difference between manganese steel and Ni-hard cast iron hammers in sand making and which is better?

The main difference is in impact and wear resistance. Manganese steel hammers (such as Mn18) have high flexibility and impact resistance and are better for larger rocks or heterogeneous feed. Ni-hard cast iron is much harder and has much higher wear resistance, but is more brittle; therefore, it is ideal for final crushing of finer rocks and high abrasion environments.
