4. The usual percentage of manganese in these pieces is 12%, but as the hardness of the stones increases, it is better to increase this percentage to 14% and the minimum molybdenum used should be 0.5% to 0.8%.
5. The concave mantel must be cut with high precision and without any double width. The cutting angles must be accurate and standard, otherwise:
   • The piece will wear faster.
   • The concave will not fit well on the top shell.
   • The mantel will not be installed correctly on the head center.
